Role Description

Clinical Care:

  • Conduct thorough and accurate patient diagnostic evaluations
  • Treat PTSD and related conditions using evidence-based psychotherapies
  • Patients are seen 3-5 per week for the duration of their treatment (approximately 4 weeks) in our intensive treatment model; therapists are expected to spend 75% of their time in direct patient care.
  • Effectively triage patients to admission or provide appropriate referrals based on their clinical needs and the resources available
  • Assist in care coordination efforts & logistics with the administrative team (e.g. referring patients out or coordinating directly with other care team providers as needed)
  • Ensure that accurate and precise documentation records are maintained

Operational Support:

  • Provide input on recruiting, onboarding and overall experience of the clinical team
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Operations team and Nema leadership to ensure clear communication and clinical processes
  • Assist the Clinical Director in external communications to drive provider referrals

Qualifications
*Note: We are not hiring at an associate level at this time. However, as soon as you are independently licensed, please reach back out.


Required

  • Active licensure in California; able and willing to be cross-licensed in other states, with Nema's support
  • PhD with at least 2 years post-graduate clinical experience OR independently licensed master-level clinician
  • Outstanding clinical skills, including "webside" manner, diagnostic ability and CPT delivery
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, reliable, and can operate autonomously on core duties
  • Ability to work PST hours

Preferred

  • CPT-Trained
  • Training in DBT
  • Training in other trauma-focused modalities such as PE or EMDR
  • Clinical supervisory/management experience
  • Experience working at an early-stage company

Nema Health is an early stage clinic looking to build and grow nationally. This is a fully remote, full-time, exempt, salaried position reporting directly to the Clinical Director. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience. The full-time compensation package will include a $90,000+ salary range, unlimited PTO, a healthcare stipend, an education stipend, 401K with match and paid parental leave.
