Client Services Manager - Smart Home Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Client Services Manager to join our innovative smart home automation company. As a Client Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by overseeing and enhancing our client services operations. Your expertise in smart home technology combined with your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

This position has a salary in the $75k-85k range with bonus eligibility, health benefits, retirement (401k, IRA), PTO/vacation, training & development and more. The role will work primarily onsite in the N Chicago Wicker Park area with no travel requirement.

What you'll do:
  • Oversees Day-to-Day operations of the Client Services Department.
  • Manage support ticketing system and moves tickets through support pipeline.
  • Accepts incoming client requests and acts as level one technical support for client issues.
  • Prepares daily schedule for service technicians and manages service department's sales orders.
  • Audits all service calls for proper billing.
  • Ensures that vans are properly maintained, and inventories are stocked.
  • Works with design/engineering and sales departments on system documentation and proposals. Part of on-call remote service team. Responsible for all billing and invoicing of daily service calls.
  • Follow-up on overdue invoices.
  • Maintains low AR in accounting system for service call.
  • Responsible for all RMAs to manufacturers and works with Technical Support Manager to resolve repair requests.
  • Run weekly Client Services Department Standup meeting and open case review
