About the Role:

As a Horticultural Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the vibrant interiorscapes entrusted to our care. You'll work independently, following a structured schedule, to nurture and maintain healthy foliage plants in various client locations. Horticultural Service Technicians must have a reliable personal vehicle available each workday. Vehicle liability insurance and a valid driver's license are to be always in place.

Your Responsibilities will include:

* Plant Wellness: Providing expert care to interior plants, including watering, fertilizing, cleaning, trimming, and proper light orientation.
* Keen Eye for Detail: Identifying and removing damaged or unsightly foliage, maintaining a clean and presentable appearance for planters and surrounding areas.
* Pest Patrol: Protecting plants from disease and insects, ensuring a healthy environment.
* Presentation Matters: Maintaining staging and top dressing of plants to create a visually appealing atmosphere for clients.
* Client Communication: Building professional relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring exceptional service.

You'll be Successful if You Have:

* Plant Expertise: A strong understanding of horticultural principles and the ability to identify common plant varieties.
* Physical Stamina: The ability to lift moderate weight (up to 50 lbs) and climb ladders comfortably. This role requires you to bend, reach, climb, lift, and be on your feet for up to 10 a day.
* Dexterity and Tool Savvy: Experience using hand tools like scissors, pruners, saws, and sprayers.
* Safety First: A clean driving record and a commitment to safe work practices.
* Communication Champion: Excellent communication skills to connect with clients professionally.
* Team Player: A willingness to participate in training sessions and collaborate effectively.
* Organizational Whiz: The ability to maintain detailed service records and manage time efficiently.
