A Day in the Life:
The Mgr. Damage is responsible for monitoring Instant Return Reps for damage collection standard work and ensuring that damage vehicles are moved to the damage appraiser in a timely manager.
What You'll Do:
* Serve as local point of contact for the day-to-day management of the damage process.
* Improve quality of Vehicle Incident Reports and increase number of customer signatures.
* Proactively monitors damage process and service to ensure that service level agreements are met.
* Verify and drive compliance with Standard Work and complete required coaching.
* Work closely with body damage vendors and Hertz accounts payable to ensure payments are processed efficiently in Oracle.
* Work to increase body shop availability and vendor network and manage vendor relations.
* Must be able to work independently and create training documents, training materials and additional reports outside the required ones provided by the supervisor.
* Working days/hours that complement business demands.
What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree highly preferred
* 2-3 years management experience preferred
* Body repair experience preferred
* Working knowledge of current model year vehicle
* Strong understanding of competitor/industry practices
* Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
* Ability to influence
* Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems
* Ability to drive process and organizational change.
