Productive Resources () is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Pella, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be a skilled SolidWorks Designer with a specialization in hydraulic lines routing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SolidWorks software and a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and principles.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

  • Utilize SolidWorks software to design and optimize hydraulic lines routing for various hydraulic systems and components.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand project requirements and develop innovative solutions for hydraulic systems design.
  • Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and schematics of hydraulic line routings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of hydraulic system designs to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of hydraulic systems designs into production processes.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks software with experience in 3D modeling and design.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and principles, with a focus on hydraulic lines routing.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex hydraulic system designs and propose effective solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work within specified timelines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
