Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Help the Music Department AAA with a variety of tasks, to keep the department humming (pun intended). This position begins in January 2025, continues in the spring, and can be renewed for AY 25-26 if mutually agreed upon. There will be a few (paid) training hours in December 2024 after Fest.

Transferable Skills:
Organization, responsibility, confidentiality, office tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Help the Music Department AAA with a wide-range of duties, including filing, copying, organizing cabinets and storage spaces, distributing the mail, hanging posters, updating Google Docs and Sheets, etc. Other duties as assigned (some of them really odd and some really random.)

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
  • Good sense of humor required.
  • Sophomore or Junior Music majors preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Music procedures and website very helpful.
  • Not an appropriate job for first-year students.
  • Dependability and confidentiality are a must. Well-organized and able to work with little supervision at times.
  • Able to use Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
