Position Overview: As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our pharmacy. You will collaborate with the PIC and other team members to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services to our customers. Scope of Supervision: Pharmacy Technicians
Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborative Goal Setting: Work closely with the PIC to establish and monitor pharmacy goals, ensuring consistent progress and reporting.
  2. Business Growth: Contribute to the development and implementation of growth initiatives for the pharmacy.
  3. Financial Oversight: Provide input on pharmacy finances and budget management.
  4. Operational Excellence: Oversee internal pharmacy processes and operations to maintain high standards of service.
  5. Customer-Centric Approach: Hold our pharmacy team accountable for decisions that impact our customers.
  6. Team Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with pharmacy staff to foster cooperation and goal achievement.
  7. Communication: Maintain open communication with all pharmacy staff members, seeking their input and collaboration.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with practitioners to enhance organizational processes and improve patient outcomes.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and accreditation standards while implementing best practices.
  10. Delegation: Delegate responsibilities as needed to ensure timely and accurate completion of pharmacy operations.
  11. Pharmacist Duties: Perform standard pharmacist duties as required.
  12. Quality Assurance: Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies and take appropriate actions based on recommendations.
  13. Performance Improvement: Engage in the pharmacy's Performance Improvement program as requested by Human Resources.
  14. Professional Development: Participate in professional and industry organization activities, as well as in-service and continuing education programs.
  15. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the President/PIC
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy degree and State Licensure.
  • Strong organizational and delegation skills.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
  • Organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
  • Current knowledge of applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements necessary for this position include:
  • Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.
  • Using hands to operate office equipment and vehicles.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
