Job Title: CNA Scheduler and Supervisor
Location: Skilled Nursing Facility, Illinois
Job Summary: The CNA Scheduler and Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and scheduling Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure adequate staffing levels in a skilled nursing facility. This role also involves supervising CNAs, ensuring high standards of care, and maintaining compliance with staffing regulations and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly CNA schedules.

Coordinate with nursing staff to fill open shifts and manage shift changes.

Ensure compliance with state and federal staffing regulations.

Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, absences, and overtime.

Communicate schedule changes and updates to CNAs and nursing staff.

Supervise and support CNAs in their daily tasks and responsibilities.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to CNAs.

Assist with onboarding and training of new CNAs.

Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and issues.

Collaborate with the nursing management team to assess staffing needs.

Monitor and report on staffing metrics and trends.

Ensure CNAs adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Handle disciplinary actions and conflict resolution as needed.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.

Previous experience in scheduling or staffing, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare environment.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Knowledge of state and federal staffing regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
