The Clinical Operational Excellence Director Serves as a consultant providing strategic guidance, operational support, and facilitating communication across the business unit. Anticipates the needs of the Executive Vice President (EVP), understands the complexities of the business, and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Support :

Works closely with the EVP to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals.

Provides analysis, insight, and recommendations to inform the decision-making process.

Operational Oversight:

Serves as a trusted advisor to the EVP closely involved in day-to-day operations and ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.

Refines complex data and insights into actionable recommendations.

Presentations and Project Management:

Develops and prepares presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate key messages, initiatives, and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders. Ensures that presentations are visually appealing, concise, and effectively convey complex information.

Manages special projects and initiatives, including research, analysis, and implementation of new processes or programs. Monitors project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Meeting Organization:

Coordinates the agenda, logistics, etc. for staff meetings and workshops for business unit's leadership team. • Master's degree in business or health care administration, finance, or related field. In lieu of degree may consider equivalent combination of education/training and experience.

• 8 years of professional experience in managed care or equivalent experience in a health plan or financial services directly related to assigned area; 3 years of which are in leadership or as a high-level individual contributor.

• Consulting experience is a plus.

• Six Sigma certified preferred.

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or other industry recognized certification.

• Excellent business acumen and knowledge of key performance indicators and metrics with the ability to apply advanced concepts to business operations.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong Microsoft Office and analytical reporting skills.

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to interact with various levels in the organization.

• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.

• Strong knowledge of health plan and managed care operations and best practices.

• Ability to occasionally travel to offsite locations.

• Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
