Job Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to:
  • Answering phone calls and taking messages for superintendents
  • Welcoming all visitors and interacting with them professionally
  • Creating spreadsheets, managing databases, preparing presentations
  • Managing scheduling and appointments for superintendents
    • Provide daily reminders
  • Prepare agendas for board meetings
  • Prepare documents and maintain databases for personnel, i.e., Talent Ed
    • Onboarding for new hires
  • Arranging meetings and other events
  • Managing mail/fax communications
  • Managing traditional paper and electronic filing systems
  • Performing essential bookkeeping/clerical duties
  • Setting and managing the daily schedules and calendars for superintendents
  • Preparing and editing documents, such as expense reports, travel documents, memos, and invoices for superintendents
  • Negotiating with vendors
  • Order necessary office supplies
  • Managing videoconferencing, fax communications, and office equipment
  • Reviewing incoming documents
  • Schedule and attend parent meetings at the central office as needed
  • Registration affidavits
  • Facility use clerk
  • Update personnel on the official website
  • Coordination of student services documents
  • Maintain school board policy
  • All other duties assigned

Terms of Employment

242 days annually with salary as approved by the Board of Trustees
