Maryland Wellness is seeking a friendly, ambitious, and caring Client Support Coordinator to join our operations team As a Client Support Coordinator, you will serve as the main point of contact for clients and other visitors in our Salisbury office location. The individual in this position is responsible for welcoming visitors and checking-in clients, coordinating client and therapist schedules, assisting with file management and office organization, as well as contributing to a positive office environment for all. You will serve as the point of contact for continuing services whether in person, on the phone, or through written communication and therefore must be able to provide quality customer service that aligns with the agency's values and standards of care. Prior experience with collecting/preparing lab samples and taking vitals is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in medical administration preferred
  • Experience in the mental or behavioral health field preferred
  • Answers phones and resolves caller needs, or directs caller to the appropriate party.
  • Responds to voicemails, emails, text messages, and any other form of communication timely and professionally.
  • Greets and checks-in clients upon arrival, verifies insurance and demographic information, and provides forms or paperwork as needed.
  • Educates visitors on company programs and services.
  • Ensures clients have appropriate transportation and arrange accordingly.
  • Schedules provider appointments and completes appointment reminders.
  • Provides clients with support and guidance as needed.
  • Request referrals for additional programs from providers.
  • Following the back-end processes and workflow so clients can receive services.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping - logs all client communication in EMR system.
  • Review provider schedule and ensure that all clients have active insurance coverage for scheduled session.
  • Assists providers with documentation, pharmacy inquires, schedule management.
  • Collects/prepares lab specimens.
  • Reviews provider schedule and discuss client compliance with provider
  • CPR & First Aid certified
