Are you a Radiology Technician looking for a new opportunity? If so, then RieLes Group has the perfect opportunity for you Services will be performed at FCI Beckley located in Beaver, WV.

Specific duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Perform routine radiology procedures ordered by the medical staff for the inmate population
  • Perform routine exams requiring venipuncture with documented training
  • Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs
  • Possess knowledge of basic emergency situations that may occur during special radiographic procedures
  • Possess knowledge of various pathological abnormalities as demonstrated by radiographic imaging
  • Independently perform all radiographic procedures, i.e., chest, bone, skull, spines, and portable x-rays
  • Notify referring physicians if there are any abnormalities.
  • Coordinate transfer of patient radiology records to ensure continuity of care
  • Work with Clinical Director to ensure monitoring and evaluation activities are completed
  • Computerization and printing of daily logs and printing exam requisitions
  • Complete all x-ray studies ordered by the medical staff
  • Assisting with FDA inspections and preparations for TJC and program as needed

Qualifications:
  • Fully licensed in the state of West Virginia
  • Must have at least three (3) years of Radiology Technician experience
  • Must have current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
  • Must have some knowledge of working in a correctional facility
  • Must possess knowledge of methods, techniques, and procedures to perform job activities on various types of medical equipment and automated systems and of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment
