Job Summary

West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC), recognized as a top 10 community college in the nation by The Aspen Institute five consecutive times and three times as a Finalist with Distinction, invites applications for the position of Nursing Assistant Instructor. WKCTC is a comprehensive community college that provides excellence in teaching a learning, promotes student success, and supports economic development.

Committed to teaching excellence, able to adapt to student learning needs and perform as a member of a team. This position includes teaching nursing assistant and supportive unlicensed skills in multiple delivery methods (in person and hybrid).

Job Duties:

Teaching responsibilities include classroom, clinical and campus laboratory instruction in the areas of long term care. Other responsibilities include team teaching and curriculum development, department and college committee assignments, student advising and community service and processional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science in Nursing required. Current, unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Kentucky. 2+ years of experience as a registered nurse and experience in the provision of long term care services.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference given to those with experience in the application of the principles of teaching and learning and Methods of Instruction certification
