Responsibilities:
- To compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of information
- To locate and correct errors or report them to supervisor
- Ability to maintain logs of activities and completed work
- To store completed documents in appropriate locations
- To input alphanumeric information on keyboard
- To handle phone interactions with clients for support and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Medical Billing and CPT coding data entry experience is required.
- Must have medical billing experience utilizing coded data to produce and submit claims to insurance companies using the CMS 1500 form (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services form) or the HCFA 1500 form (older version Health Care Financing Administrative Form).
- Experience utilizing billing forms to bill Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance carriers is required.
- Ability to work 8-5 pm, M-F
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
