Job Description:

The employee will be the primary Social Worker Supervisor for West and Central Units. This position is critical in that this person would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day social service function for all teams on both units. Duties would include completing SW assessments, family contact/therapy, individual counseling, treatment planning, discharge planning and groups counseling.

This position is subject to close at any time once a satisfactory applicant pool has been identified.

FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE BACKGROUND CHECK AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.

Master's degree from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Three years of experience in the provision of therapeutic services with, One year of which in a supervisory role OR Master's degree from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Three years of experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 3 (HCP052) or position equivalent.
