Job Summary
The Wellness Coordinator (hereafter Coordinator) will provide leadership and coordination for the infusion of multiple tiers of intervention and support (MTSS) within HCOE's Court and Community Schools (CCS). The Coordinator will collect and utilize data relevant to interventions, identify and implement Evidence Based Practices in relation to student wellness and provide support and coaching to CCS staff in regard to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) practices. This position provides both direct service to students and families, as well as provides training, mentoring and management of MTSS/PBIS programs as part of the Student Services Team. The Coordinator will promote the general well-being of students working with outside agencies to provide support to families, developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success. The Coordinator will pursue multiple funding sources, including partnerships with community agencies and grants, as well as participate in CCS's School-based Medi-Cal billing and documentation, as appropriate.

Education and Experience: Must possess a valid Pupil Personnel Services credential. Two (2) years of experience with multi-disciplinary teams focused on youth and family wellness (ex: School Attendance Review Board, DHHS Child Family Team meetings, IEP meetings). Preferred Experience: Demonstrated experience with successful development and implementation of professional learning workshops and trainings. Experience with grant reporting guidelines.
