THE JOB:

As a Hostperson your job entails welcoming guests with courtesy, promptness, and professionalism, while also maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels in their assigned outlet. Additionally, they are tasked with aiding Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Service Runners in guest interactions and table-related matters.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

* Coordinate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special orders, cake requests, and any other special inquiries, ensuring all relevant information is promptly communicated to management.


* Stay informed about daily scheduled activities, in-house groups, house counts, table/seat/station allocations, correct table setups, room capacities, operating hours, price ranges, and the restaurant's dress code.


* Welcome guests promptly upon their arrival at the restaurant.


* Manage incoming phone calls, maintain an accurate record of reservations, and oversee the reservation book.


* Verify that menus contain correct inserts and reflect the latest changes, replacing any menus that are in poor condition with updated versions.


* Regularly communicate with guests who are waiting to be seated, ensuring they feel acknowledged and informed about the status of their table preparation.



THE STARTING RANGE:

* $18.75/Hour



THE IDEAL SCHEDULE:

This position is scheduled based on seniority and business needs.

Ginger Hours of Operation

MON - THU, SUN

11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

FRI - SAT

11:00 AM - 12:00 AM
