Position Overview for Certified Medication Aide (CMA): We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to assist our residents with their daily living activities while ensuring their medical needs are met. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a heart for service, this is the perfect opportunity for you

Key Responsibilities as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA):

  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents according to their service plans and monitor for any side effects.

  • Personal Care Support: Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, promoting their dignity and independence.

  • Documentation: Accurately document residents' health statuses and any changes, adhering to community standards and regulations.

  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional and social support to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and community standards to ensure the well-being of residents.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in healthcare or a related field preferred.

  • Certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent licensure (CNA)required in the state of VA.

  • Must be able to obtain any required food handling and sanitation certifications.
