ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Duties and Responsibilities
* Coordinate the daily calendar of the President. Ensure he has all necessary paperwork for meetings and appointments.
* Plan, coordinate, and ensure the President's schedule is followed and respected. Provide "gatekeeper" role for access to his time.
* Work closely with the President to keep him informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
* Schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Send agendas before meetings.
* Oversee incoming email and telephone calls and distribute as required.
* Prepare and modify/proofread documents including email correspondence, reports, and letters.
* Log documents into filing system for easy access and retrieval.
* Maintain open item list for the President and follow up to ensure items are closed in a timely fashion.
* Record, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Requirements
* Previous Administrative Assistant experience
* Ability to work with highly sensitive information
* Ability to multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities at the same time
* Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
* Outstanding written and verbal skills
* Ability to move freely around the plant as needed
