Radiology Clerical Coordinator | Full Time | Varied Shifts

Responsible for greeting and assisting Radiology patients in a timely, courteous and professional manner. Handles telephone requests from patients, hospital staff and physicians as related to Radiology services. Performs clerical duties essential to the functioning of the Radiology department in the hospital and at the Ambulatory Care Center. Ensures that accurate patient information is obtained including patient signatures on any appropriate insurance form, waiver and/or screening questionnaire.
Preferred Education:
High School Graduate
Required Technical Skills:
Excellent telephone skills, Daily Audits,Typing and general computer knowledge
Preferred Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Required Experience:
Six months experience as an administrative assistant
Preferred Experience:
Greater than one years experience as an administrative assistant
