McConway has been able to meet the needs of our customers with a steady, dependable and economical supply of high-quality coupler products. As the original designers of the first standard automatic coupler, continued innovation and craftsmanship have led to a product line that includes every ARR approved coupler as well as custom coupler solutions, which are all proudly cast in the US.

McConway & Torley is currently searching for a Yard Crew member.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

What you'll do:

* Yard Crew members perform manual tasks that are part of the building, maintenance, and overall care of the plant,
* Assist all departments with cleanup and removal of all trash and unwanted items
* Operate forklifts, Skid steers, frontend loaders and any equipment needed to complete duties.
* Assist maintenance on a variety of task including office maintenance, painting, ect.
* Operate drive around floor sweepers, weed whackers, and cut grass as needed
* Must be willing and able to work all shifts and overtime as needed
* Driver's license and experience of operating equipment
* Previous experience in construction a plus

What You'll Need:

* Highschool diploma, or GED equivalent
* Eagerness to learn.
* Must be tolerant to work in outside temperatures.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have a good attitude and be adaptable to changes.
* Must be able to follow all safety protocols for assignments

Working Conditions:

* Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
* This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
* Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

* Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required
* Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
* Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
