The Role

In this role, you will support the analytical development of Moderna's mRNA-based clinical pipeline.

Here's What You'll Do

* Become proficient in a wide range of biophysical analysis methods


* Perform and develop biophysical and particle characterization assays


* Develop and transfer analytical methods with high-quality documentation


* Perform data analysis and trending


* Maintain a high standard of documentation and report writing


* Collaborate with functional partners


* Implement and apply novel analytical biophysical methods


* Present and interpret results at internal meetings


* Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time



Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

* Bachelors in biochemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering or a related discipline with 0-2 years of relevant industry experience



Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

* Technical experience in the following areas is desirable: Biopharmaceutical analysis, protein science, physical biochemistry, analytical chemistry, nanoparticle characterization


* Basic laboratory capabilities, such as pipetting and buffer preparation


* Experience with biophysical techniques is desirable (e.g. spectroscopy, particle sizing, calorimetry, light scattering)


* Exceptional oral communication skills


* Ability to effectively document and communicate results


* Strong interpersonal skills with an eagerness to support colleagues across the organization and a demonstrated aptitude for team and employee development


* Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.
