ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop project-based curriculum for younger youth and oversee its implementation
* Train Project Facilitators to effectively implement project-based learning activities
* Train Work Readiness Facilitator to effectively implement curriculum
* Develop work readiness curriculum for older youth
* Create project-based learning summary for younger youth work readiness training using Microsoft PowerPoint and lead one-hour training
* Schedule project-based learning activities
* Arrange for guest speakers, as applicable
* Work closely with Counselors to address academic barriers youth may be facing and work with youth to resolve them
* Assist youth with college application process and form linkages with colleges
* Participate in weekly meetings with Program Director and Job Developer
* Assist Project Developer in the coordination of culminating event
* Other related duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES

* Minimum of three years related experience working in the field of youth development
* Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
* Must be able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, set and meet deadlines; strong communication & writing skills
* Prior experience developing and facilitating project-based activities preferred
* Proficiency in MS Office
