Flexible hours with ample opportunities for advancing your professional development

This role offers scheduling flexibility and the chance to accrue child and family hours essential for your licensure (LCSWs, LPCCs, LMFTs). The work is a blend of home and school settings, providing an opportunity to establish connections with school districts and gain practical experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). As part of the role, you'll actively engage in IEP meetings and collaborate with professionals who share similar goals. We provide remote supervision hours at no cost, and our commitment to mentorship is reflected in our exceptional passing rates.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

* Drive time and mileage reimbursement traveling between client visits
* Supervised professional experience toward licensure (group and individual; no cost to associate)
* Specialized training in psychopathology, evidence-based treatments, crisis management, legal/ethical risks management with children and adolescents and didactic clinical training
* Licensure preparation and optional, specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) population

Job Duties

* Provide comprehensive wraparound services to children/adolescents/families with various diagnostic presentations (i.e., Mood, Anxiety, Trauma, Neurodevelopmental Disorders)
* Individual & Family counseling utilizing evidence-based treatments
* Collaborate with IEP team members including consulting IEP services
* Maintain administrative oversight of client paperwork, collateral consults, and documentation and caseload management
* Option to provide community-based counseling/psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families with an emphasis on evidence-based practices

Requirements

* Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
* Registered Associate (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) with BBS current or in process
* Clinical experience with children and/or adolescents
* Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
* School-based service experience preferred

Mental Health Associates participate in the Mental Health Training Program within ERA ED and its non-profit subsidiary, CAUSE, Inc. The Mental Health Training Program commences each school year between August 1st and extends to July 31st with possibility of extension to the following year; Mental Health Associates are expected to participate in the training year in its entirety (the full school year). Mental Health Associates will receive Supervised Professional Experience in accordance with regulations set forth by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
