Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Caregiver with on-call responsibilities. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to clients in their daily activities while also overseeing caregiver performance and compliance with agency regulations after hours and on weekends. This is an hourly position with a rate of $24 per hour.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provides onsite training and phone support to caregivers as needed.
  2. Assists in ensuring caregivers are using the telephony and electronic charting system.
  3. Provides emergency caregiver coverage as needed.
  4. Monitors caregiver compliance with following clients' plan of care.
  5. Schedules staff and notifies clients of changes.
  6. Performs written assignments of duties on a client-specific basis.
  7. Meets and conferences with staff as necessary.
  8. Provides monthly supervision of client care via telephone or other appropriate contacts with the client and/or family/caregivers.
  9. Counsels staff on difficult cases and potentially dangerous situations.
  10. Attends and participates in appropriate client care conferences, staff and education meetings, and agency committee meetings.
  11. Performs other related functions as required.
  12. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
  13. Performs all job functions in compliance with all appropriate local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and professional standards.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Personal Care Provider is required.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be willing to be on-call and respond to client needs as required.
