We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled lab technician for our new lab in Biotech and Smart Manufacturing. The lab technician will play a key role in supporting various projects by providing technical assistance, performing experiments, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

* Assist students and faculty in laboratory and projects.
* Order, receive and check equipment and supplies, perform inventory control, perform minor repairs of lab equipment.
* Provide lab supports for all classes held at 16 tech, ensure safety at all times.
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met.
* Prepare reagents and solutions following standardized protocols and guidelines.
* Assist in the development and optimization of experimental protocols and procedures.
* Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal
* An associate or higher degree in related field.
* Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
* Strong understanding of basic laboratory techniques and procedures.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
