POSITION SUMMARY:

The MRI Technologist works under general direction of the Lead MRI Technologist performs MRI exams and related activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an A.R.R.T. accredited school of Radiologic Technology; A.R.R.T. registration in Radiography; current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist; CPR for health care workers; ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

One to three (1-3) years of experience performing MRI and/or three to five (3-5) years of experience performing CT scans; strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; A.R.R.T. certification in MRI.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with one Saturday rotation per month, with a day off during the week.
