Requirements:

* Must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice or evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military.
* Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)
* BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)
* Registered with ARRT

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
* Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department
* Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
* Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs
* Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
* Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
* Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
* The Radiologic Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations*
