Job Description
As a Pharmacy Supervisor at Physicians Regional Healthcare System you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best, providing quality care to our patients Our staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling, 100% licensure / certification reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, and up to $10K for student loan payments.
Requirements:
* Education: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
* A licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
* PGY1 residency or a minimum of three (3) years of clinical hospital experience, preferred.
About the job:
* Collaborate on our pharmacy leadership team to grow the pharmacy department into the best department Lead a team of pharmacists, technicians, residents and students.
* Actively participate on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
* Liaison with nursing, physicians and various departments throughout the hospital.
* Ensure compliance with the board of pharmacy, USP 797, USP 800, the joint commission and other regulatory bodies.
* Manage the day to day operation of the pharmacy, including the pharmacy schedule and payroll.
* Staff as needed in the department.
* Provides educational services to patients and healthcare professionals.
* Participates in the training of new pharmacist, residents, students and technicians.
