Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Aircraft Structural Rework Technician to join our X-Plant department based in Mobile, AL

Meet the team:

The team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facilities assemble the finest aircraft in the world, along two (soon to be three) production lines for the A220 and A320 Family aircraft. On the shop floor you'll be surrounded by individuals who are passionate about aviation and skilled in areas like electrical, structure and quality. Your working environment:

Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your challenges:

* Knowledge of hand, power tools, Cutting Tools, Related to airbus manufacturing.


* Willingness to learn and cross-skill within multiple functions and competencies.


* Ability to work across different teams to coordinate and complete activities.


* Demonstrated ability to problem solve.


* Knowledge of station safety, quality, FOD, and OSHA regulations.


* Able to enter, generate, and Retrieve information using a computer or tablet (SAP and Excel Knowledge preferred)

* Required: High school Diploma or GED


* Training from a vocational school or previous employer in the use of application tolls and in application techniques.


* 2+ Years hands-on experience in aviation with repair work.
