BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Degree: Clinical psychology: For positions at grades GS-11 and above, satisfactory completion of all the requirements for the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, GS-14:Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples Include: Responsible for overall planning, organizing, improving and implementing behavioral health issues; providing administrative management and supervision for behavioral health staff and clinical supervision for appropriate staff to assure compliance with accrediting bodies; providing psychological care and consultation services to patients in the area while establishing behavioral health standards of care and as a senior clinician; providing a wide range of psychological testing, evaluation and clinical services; and providing leadership in the development of policies and procedures, related to outpatient psychiatric services. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR, License: Must possess a current valid State Board Psychologist License from any State to practice independently in his or her professional competency. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP) You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
