Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensures dining room is open promptly for meals.
* Ensures all guests are greeted and sat in a timely manner.
* Maintains constant awareness of table availability in designated area.
* Combines tables as needed to accommodate larger parties while maintaining sufficient aisle room for staff and guests.
* Maintains cleanliness of guest waiting area.
* Always verifies the total number of guests in each party.
* Always demonstrates a pleasant demeanor and a sincere desire to be responsive to guest's needs.
* Ensures that restaurant entrance and exit are always attended so as not to inconvenience guest(s).
* Always thanks guests for patronage and invites them to return.
* Ensures environment lighting and temp are comfortable and checks amenities that need attention are handled appropriately and efficiently.
* Always exhibits extreme care when handling dishware, glassware, silverware, and food product.
* Accurately handles reservations and communicates the outlet's hours of operation and encourages guest(s) to reserve a table in another outlet if booked.
* Refers reservations over 8 to the Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Must have experience in a guest contact position.
* Prior experience as a host preferred.
* Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must possess a current RBS certification.
* Must possess a current Food Handler card.
