Position Overview:

Are you looking for a non-travel opportunity in the field of radiology? Join our growing and reputable facility in Dallas, TX and enjoy excellent compensation and benefits. We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technician to become a valuable member of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Radiologic Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Operating and maintaining radiology equipment
  • Preparing patients for procedures
  • Monitoring and managing radiographic supplies
  • Explaining procedures to patients and addressing their questions
  • Positioning patients for imaging exams
  • Ensuring patient safety during exams
  • Documenting information using computer systems
  • Producing high-quality diagnostic images of soft tissues
  • Conducting equipment calibration reports on a regular basis
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA laws

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Radiology
  • Valid ARRT certification
  • Active and current Radiologic Technologist license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems or strong database management skills
