* Full time position (4-5 days/week)
* Established, busy ambulatory clinic located at the Medical Office Building on the campus of Toledo Hospital
* Provides comprehensive medical services following a patient care medical home model
* Interest in teaching/mentoring, collaborating with APPs
* Possibly a leadership role within the office to assist with supervision of office providers and creating and enforcing clinical policies
* Currently 2 physicians and 5 NPs
* Call Coverage: weekly rotation and after hours call
* Internal Medicine, BE/BC
* Clinic hours are M-F, 7 am - 8 pm (flexibility)

Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages, including physical examinations, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribing medications.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and medical records.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
* Educate patients about preventative care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management.
* Maintain accurate and up-to date patient records using electronic health records systems.
* Stay informed about the latest medical advancements, research, and the best primary care.
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including networking, councils, and boards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

* Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
* Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
* Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field
* New graduates and experienced providers are both encouraged to apply
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Interest in being a part of leadership committees or councils
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in using electronic health record systems
