Job Description

* Creation and maintenance of project plans
* Meeting project deliverable deadlines and milestones
* Managing assigned projects to completion
* Team communications
* Identify and provide critical target dates to stakeholders
* Tracking updates, action items, issues and other requests for Division leadership and managing related tasks to close-out.
* Support and assistance with select external event planning
* Developing internal communications projects and products such as SharePoint sites and content, presentations, and management initiatives
* Prior experience working with government institutions or biopharmaceutical industry experience considered beneficial.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent beneficial, but not required.
* A well-rounded, flexible and energetic individual is critical for this position.
* Demonstrate experience in managing program schedules
* Demonstrated experience providing advice to senior government officials.
* Demonstrated experience in working with teams with a variety of backgrounds.
* Demonstrated experience in assisting with coordinating collaborations with other federal government agencies, industry, and international organizations.
* Event planning/management experience strongly preferred

Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience and a master's degree with a major in business administration, public administration, or public health.
* Prior experience working with government institutions or biopharmaceutical industry experience considered beneficial.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent beneficial, but not required.
* Demonstrate experience in managing program schedules
* Demonstrated experience providing advice to senior government officials.
* Demonstrated experience in working with teams with a variety of backgrounds.
* Demonstrated experience in assisting with coordinating collaborations with other federal government agencies, industry, and international organizations.
* Event planning/management experience strongly preferred

This role requires up to 2 days a week in Washington. DC.
