What you'll be doing:

* Explore novel camera image pipeline algorithms and architectures for future ISP including deep learning methods to achieve unprecedented image quality (IQ)


* Engage with new camera application areas to understand needs and constraints, and discover opportunities to innovate beyond the state of the art


* Articulate problem statement on improvement areas by analyzing existing ISP technologies and facilitate development of effective solutions


* Develop ISP architecture specifications, functional models, and tests by working closely with other IP architects, ASIC designers, and software teams


* Represent new and existing NVIDIA ISP capabilities to internal groups, senior leaders, partners, and customers



What we need to see:

* MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience


* 5+ years of meaningful experience; or equivalent qualification


* Experience in developing camera imaging, machine vision, and deep learning algorithms and applications


* Ability to understand system/product requirements and connect them to ISP requirements


* Strong foundation in image quality assessment and algorithm complexity analysis


* Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python, DL framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)


* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team


* Excellent communication skills for productive personal interactions as well as effective documentation and presentation



Ways to stand out from the crowd:

* PhD in relevant field and ISP development experience for automotive and consumer cameras


* Background in image science covering optics, image sensors, and color management


* Solid understanding of HDR image sensor technologies and applications and Experience in embedded system architecture and development


* Knowledge of industry standards and benchmarks for consumer, automotive, and medical imaging systems


* Track record in building a culture of imaging excellence based on fundamentals and attention to detail through mentorship, teaching, and personal examples

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 276,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
