Looking for a contract Ultrasound Technologist. This is a very unique opportunity to see Alaska. Primarily OB, but needs to have experience with AB, GYN, Transvaginal, and limited Vascular (DVT's only). ARDMS is required. This position will be the only US Tech on staff during this time frame. So, please submit candidates accordingly. Equipment is GE Logic 9. Travel and lodging included. Tech must be laid back with an easy going personality. The population is mostly native and the culture is very different in this region. Exams are scheduled 1 hour apart, so not to be rushed. Shift will be days; Monday - Friday. The tech will be responsible for 100% of the call during this 8 week contract (with the exception of the first week which will serve as a training period for our workflow process). Expectations - To perform and provide clinical sonographic services to the people of the Bering Straits Region in accordance with NSHC's mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures while applying standards of the Radiology profession. Obtains and documents patient clinical information as needed. Participates in standby call. Performs basic patient care within the scope of practice and to departmental standards.

Shift: 8am - 4:40pm Mon - FriOn call the rest of the time.
