We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join an esteemed anesthesia group in the Sebring, Florida area. As a CRNA, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing safe and high-quality anesthesia care to patients across various specialties, including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, OB, vascular, healthy pediatrics, regional, neuro, and outpatient cases.

This is a full-time position with 5 day workweeks and 8 hour shifts. They offer a competitive salary of $300,000 annually and provide 6 weeks of vacation time.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with anesthesiologists and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall well-being throughout surgery, making necessary adjustments to maintain stability.
  3. Assist with airway management, intubation, and extubation procedures as required.
  4. Provide post-operative pain management and ensure patients' smooth recovery from anesthesia.
  5. Document accurate and complete anesthesia records, including pre-operative assessments, anesthesia charts, and post-operative notes.
  6. Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines, including infection control measures and medication administration procedures.
  7. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding patient care and concerns.
  8. Stay updated on current anesthesia practices, techniques, and equipment advancements through continuous education and professional development.
  9. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and licensing requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Current and unrestricted certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  2. Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  3. Strong knowledge and understanding of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
  4. Ability to remain calm and work effectively in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the healthcare team and address patient needs.
  6. Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  7. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  8. A Florida license is a plus but not necessary.
