We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join an esteemed anesthesia group in the Sebring, Florida area. As a CRNA, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing safe and high-quality anesthesia care to patients across various specialties, including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, OB, vascular, healthy pediatrics, regional, neuro, and outpatient cases.
This is a full-time position with 5 day workweeks and 8 hour shifts. They offer a competitive salary of $300,000 annually and provide 6 weeks of vacation time.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive anesthesia care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall well-being throughout surgery, making necessary adjustments to maintain stability.
- Assist with airway management, intubation, and extubation procedures as required.
- Provide post-operative pain management and ensure patients' smooth recovery from anesthesia.
- Document accurate and complete anesthesia records, including pre-operative assessments, anesthesia charts, and post-operative notes.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines, including infection control measures and medication administration procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding patient care and concerns.
- Stay updated on current anesthesia practices, techniques, and equipment advancements through continuous education and professional development.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and licensing requirements.
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
- Ability to remain calm and work effectively in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the healthcare team and address patient needs.
- Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- A Florida license is a plus but not necessary.
