This position provides research and development expertise to the R&D arm of a DoD/IC agency. We are looking for senior, mid-level, and junior level candidates who will perform hands-on development of prototypes, capabilities, and R&D concepts. Additionally, you will be responsible for maturing, testing and helping to integrate those capabilities into an operational environment.
R&D areas include: geospatial intelligence, analytic technologies, and advanced phenomenologies.
You must have expertise in at least 2 areas:
Image registration and fusion
Geolocation Accuracy
Geolocation and relative mensuration
Foundational Geospatial-Intelligence
Photogrammetry
Signal and image processing
GEOINT Forensics
Remote Sensing
Triangulation
SAR image formation and exploitation
Interferometry and point cloud generation
OPIR
LIDAR
Computer Vision
AI/ML
Bathymetry
Magnetic models of the Earth
Gravimetric models of the Earth
Requirements:
Strong programming skills in order to build prototype solutions (MATLAB, Python, C++, C, Java, or similar)
BS or higher degree in Engineering, Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree
Thought leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills ability to present scientific concepts
Knowledge of emerging technologies and scientific developments
Modeling and Simulation experience
Process:

This work will begin in 3 to 4 months but we encourage candidates to apply now because of the time required to cross clearances over. Period of Performance will be 5 to 7 years. We have multiple openings. Some positions will allow a little bit of telework (probably around 25% per month - those details will be ironed out after starting).
