PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Contacts customers face-to-face, by telephone and/or email, to confirm, coordinate, and update details for scheduled catering activities
* Details each group's catering needs which may include but is not limited to: menu planning, meal time, and room set up
* Tracks all guarantees and deadlines based on contract
* Coordinates with the Executive Chef and Catering Manager to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as planned
* Completes projects as directed in relation to the area of responsibility
* Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Food Runners, Servers, Set Up Staff
* Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
* Assists management in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department
* Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

* Passion for hospitality, food, and client service
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* Must be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions for problems that may occur in the FOH, be self-motivated, and organized
* Computer skills a must and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. Familiar with sales systems such as Salesforce and Caterese
* Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time
* Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
