The neuropsychologist applies theories and principles of neuropsychology to diagnose and treat disorders of higher cerebral functioning, designs and implements individualized rehabilitation strategies for patients with cognitive challenges, and conducts neuropsychological evaluations such as assessment of intelligence, academic ability, attention, concentration, sensory-motor function, language, learning, and memory. # ABOUT THE POSITION: The neuropsychologist will have the primary responsibility for providing outpatient clinical assessments for adult and geriatric populations in the UPMC Neurological Institute.
