Boise Ford's' New Commercial Fleet Service Center Technician Offerings:

* Experienced A & B techs pay range: $22-40 flat rate hour
* Experienced C & D techs pay range: $17-20 flat rate hour

About Boise Ford's New Commercial Fleet Service Center:

* 10 Bays: 9 main-line and 1 quick-lube. Parts Runners for active jobs to deliver parts and Porters to help move vehicles in and out of bays.

Now HIRING Automotive Lube Technicians

Our Service Department is growing and we are looking for a few Lube Technicians who are interested in starting or continuing their career in automotive. Minimum of 1-2 years of Lube Technician experience is preferred but not required as we are willing to train individuals who are coachable and driven: eager and willing learn, and motivated to do more and produce more and grow with the company

* Pay Range: $17-$20 per hour depending on experience


* Schedule: Must have open availability to work Monday through Saturday


* Hours: Flexible shifts 7-4 / 8-5 / 9-6


* Service Department is Open: M-F from 7-6 and Saturdays 7-5



Boise Ford offers an apprenticeship program like no other: Lube Technicians start in the Quick Lube to learn our processes, how to perform service efficiently and accurately in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards, after 3-6 months (and depending on productivity and performance) and with the proper tools, the Lube Tech is paired up with a Master Technician for a 2-year mentorship program. Additional earning potential upon successful completion of the mentorship program to be discussed at time of interview with Hiring Manager.

Responsibilities:

As an Automotive Lube Technician you will perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

* Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.


* Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.


* Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.



Qualifications:

* Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.


* Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.


* Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.


* Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.


* A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.


* Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
