Summary:

Receives and disburses money for food services. Operates cash registers and other related equipment. Stocks, and services dining and service area

Responsibilities:

Receives payment by cash, check, credit card, and debit card.

Issues receipts, change, credits, or refunds to customers.

Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure correct balance.

Maintains clean and organized checkout area.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

* Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED, or in lieu of HS/GED, satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required. Exception - neither HS/GED nor competency testing are required for positions at Yampa Valley Medical Center (YVMC).
* Required Licensure/Certification: None Required.
* Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience.
