DESCRIPTION:

As an Estimator at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to:

* Responsible for multiple systems on Technical, Health Care or Industrial projects
* Lead fully engineered estimates up to $5M
* Understand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1M
* Review the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scope
* Develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answers
* Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes
* Proficient with estimating software
* Working knowledge of McCormick and Bluebeam
* Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Review Estimate take-offs
* Understanding and familiarity with NEC
* Mentoring Estimator Trainees & Estimator 1 staff

REQUIREMENTS:

* Four year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related career experience
* One plus years recent Electrical Estimating experience with on-screen take-off experience preferred
* Computer literate and able to quickly master and apply department's computer systems and software
