Front Desk Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Check-in/Check-out hotel guests.
- Process all payments according to hotel requirements.
- Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors.
- Prepares all necessary reports during each shift for the management team.
- Ensure all front desk staff know all components/features of our guest service guarantee and are trained to meet service standards.
- Assist in creating and distributing the team member schedule in a timely manner.
- Represent the hotel in a professional, knowledgeable and eloquent manner.
- Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain an impeccably clean, safe and inviting atmosphere inside and out.
- Ensure that all interactions with guests, managers and other employees are always friendly, attentive, courteous and efficient.
- Assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment which focuses on the guest, through employee development and motivation.
- Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication and teamwork with all employees and department heads.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of front desk supervisor experience.
- Experience handling cash, accounting procedures and general administrative tasks.
- Bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management and/or related fields.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and hotel management systems.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and must be able to work a flexible work schedule as the hours for this management position will vary.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
