Join our top-rated food and beverage team at Taverne on Woodlake and transform your passion for great food into exceptional guest service-growing your skills in effective selling techniques, proper food and liquor handling methods, and restaurant operations.

Specific Responsibilities

* Greeting guests promptly and proactively with warm welcome.
* Creating a comfortable, relaxing and fun atmosphere, which will encourage repeat business.
* Maintaining positive guest relations and display "spotlight" behaviors.
* Ensuring proper portioning and recipe use for drinks and mixes.
* Keeping bar storage areas clean at all times, and proper handling of glasses.
* Maintaining complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and DWI.
* Maintaining stock, supplies, and cleanliness of bar and equipment as well as following proper rotating procedures.
* Take food orders from the guests at the bar and the dining area and serve per the course of order.
* Performing any other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.

We have both seasonal and year-round positions available. Nights and Weekends are required.

Skills/Requirements

* Candidates must be 18 years old and have the ability to obtain Safe Serve License
* 2+ years prior bartending experience preferred
* The ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and/or consistently up to 10 pounds to move objects is required
