Located in northern California Wine Country, the Ukiah Unified School District serves approximately 6,000 students, from preschoolers through adults. This position will require possession of CPR and First Aid within 6 months of hire. Periodic renewal required as a condition of continuing employment. Employees will complete the following process to obtain RBT Certification: • Registered Behavior Technician 40 hour course • Pass competency checklist under supervision of BCBA • Pass proficiency exam • Participate in Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervision, training & support bi-weekly Obtain upon hire Professional Assault Crisis Training and Certification (Pro-ACT)

Comments and Other Information

Desired Experience Two (2) years' experience working with special education students (with complex and/or severe behavioral problems preferred); or any combination of training and experience that would indicate possession of the above required skills and abilities. Two (2) years of college training related to psychology, child development or education may be substituted for one year of experience.
