Summary:

Facilitates activities related to patient safety and quality programming. Measures, analyzes, and facilitates improvement in clinical performance and outcomes. Oversees occurrence reporting, reviews and analyses of safety and quality trends.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

Identifies key clinical quality and patient safety measures. Promotes the use of appropriate measures for clinical services. Leverages results of quality improvement activities to initiate change in patient care practices.

Administers components of patient safety programs, incorporating industry best practices, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.

Sets priorities for implementation of performance improvement plans related to quality metrics and patient safety opportunities.

Analyzes patient safety trends and provides support to clinical and operational teams. Supports training, including principles of High Reliability and culture of safety.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree relevant clinical field.

Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacist, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical experience. Preferred: Quality improvement or patient safety experience.

The pay range for this position is: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
