Alta View Surgery Center is looking for a Central Processing Tech / Sterilizer to join their team . Sign-on Bonus is being offered

This position is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a quality / timely manner throughout the surgery center. Will train to perform these duties independently and without close supervision.

Alta View Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ASC that focuses on ENT, Ophthalmology, and Gastroenterology procedures across their 4 ORs and 4 Procedure Rooms. Job Essentials:

* Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instruments.
* Assemble, protect, wrap, contain, peel pack and label surgical instruments.
* Sterile instruments and equipment
* Pull case carts.
* Clean, troubleshoot and correctly use CP equipment.
* Perform and record all biological and chemical sterilization tests.
* Issue and receive durable, moveable clinical equipment.
* Issue sterile supplies to using areas.
* Perform inventory duties as required.
* Verify that all sterilization processes have been completed and met parameters before making equipment available for use.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must attain Central Processing Certification from HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) within one year of hire date.
* Bonus eligibility: Full-time employment only and must remain in full-time status throughout employment. Other bonus requirements will be outlined in your offer letter.
