**Respiratory Therapist IV - Respiratory Therapy**
**St. John's Regional Medical Center**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist IV to join our healthcare team. As a Respiratory Therapist IV, you will play a crucial role in the care and treatment of patients with respiratory conditions. You will work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care

**Responsibilities**
+ Administer and monitor invasive and non-invasive respiratory therapies to patients.
+ Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
+ Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide comprehensive care for patients.
+ Maintain and calibrate respiratory therapy equipment.
+ Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
+ Document patient information and treatment progress accurately in medical records.
+ Participate in emergency response teams and code blue situations.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in respiratory therapy.
**Qualifications**
+ Current California licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LIC RCP)
+ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in respiratory therapy
+ OR three (3) years of experience in a level two (2) or greater NICU competency in Neonatal and Newborn delivery Intubation
+ Three (3) years of experience in critical care and ventilator management
+ Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
+ Current AHA ACLS certification (CT ACLS)
+ Current AHA NRP certification (CT NRP)
+ Current AHA PALS certification (CT PALS) within three months of hire
+ Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
**This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.**
**Pay Range**
$50.15- $61.74/hour
